I LIFT MY HAT TO THIS YOUNG MAN!!! 🇯🇲 LOVE THIS! ❤️ I don't know what started this drama, but this woman spent the whole day cursing vendors and buyers in the market and sold nothing! She spent hours cursing J.L.P. supporters and talked about how wonderful P.J. Patterson was as Prime Minister and how great the P.N.P. is, and other vendors and the buyers were not having it. They were incensed! 😡 Later when she asked to see my video and I quietly started trying to clear up some of the misconceptions she had, she started gearing up to curse me, so I told her that I'd talk to her another day as I don't do loud. Of course, when I walked off she felt that she had won, but who cares? Arguing with her is not my style! 🤣🤣🤣 Anyway, here are some misconceptions that she had: 1. she suggested that Manley did the best for education in Jamaica because he started JAMAL. However, between 1945 and 49, the J.L.P. Minister of Education, Jehoida McPherson established a National Education Plan which improved literacy and numeracy and promoted equity among all students in a country that had just thrown off the shackles of Slavery when education was not provided for blacks as they were not regarded as humans. He built several secondary/high schools and over 100 primary schools. Edwin Allen, the second J.L.P. Minister of Education, established the New Deal in Education which oversaw the building of 59 secondary schools and 126 primary schools between 1967 to 1972 and the establishment of a 70/30 ratio in favor of children of the poor getting secondary school placement. These Minister's of Education were focused on access and equity, which did allow many students to get the opportunity to read and resulted in the cultivation of many brilliant minds who became brilliant scholars and great leaders in modern Jamaica. 🇯🇲 2. she said P.J. started the used car 🚗 importation into Jamaica, but used car was being imported into Jamaica long before P J. Patterson. 3. she said that the Mark Golding, Peter Bunting and Chris Dehring-owned Dehring, Bunting and Golding (DB&G) did not get some questionable deals from the P.J.-led P.N.P. government which caused the country's financial sytem to collapse and caused poverty, death and devastation across the country 4. she said 19-year-old Andrew, who had just graduated from high school and was attending university, was responsible for FINSAC and gave the money to S.S.L. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You and I know that FINSAC happened in 1997 and the SSL problem began in 2022 and Andrew has NOTHING to do with either. 5. she said that the UDC was built by the P.N.P. This is not true. It was built by Edward Seaga. 6. she said HEART TRUST was built by the P.N.P. This is also not true. It was built by Edward Seaga. 5. the P.N.P. is responsible for every development in Jamaica!!! We all know that this is a joke! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 In the 1960s the J.L.P. was a good government and they achieved a great deal. Edward Seaga did a great deal and Andrew Holness has perhaps more than 400 positive achievements to his credit although his booklets lists 250. The young man is right. The P.N.P. has always set the country back with reckless spending, wanton waste of resources, no interest in fixing crumbling infrastructure and blatant corruption.
