This is a huge problem. I predict in 10-20 years we will see the mass effect of c*rn addiction, lust, easy access to filth online and normalisation or immodesty. It’s going to kill the drive of young men, ruin marriage and relationships, promote infidelity, majorly impact mental health and body image of young women (it already is). But it’ll get to a point where it needs serious addressing (apparently we’re not there yet). The UK has (bloody finally) added a restriction on this content online, but social media remains unregulated & lets things go too easy. The websites should be outright banned. The damage it’s doing on a psychological level is worrying. Schools are teaching on the damage this can do, but it’s not enough. The statistics are wild. On average children are exposed to c*rn at 12 in the UK. Around 1/5 teenagers watch it. Most are addicted. 1/10 men self report addiction. These numbers are based on surveys so they’re likely underestimates. If you’re one of those people affected, actively do something about it, you’re not getting out of with sheer willpower. Read a book on it. Study the negative effects. Join a course to help you.
