It was his call. He decided to let criminals thrive. He decided to not enforce the laws and let repeat offenders go out and commit crime over and over again. He could have done his job and the national guard would not be needed.

just to be clear for anyone who doesn't live here, the DA has not been prosecuting many of our violent offenders by allowing plea outs. we have 10 criminal courts here and they prosecuted 38 criminal cases last year. that is less than 4 per judge, don't believe me dig a little deeper and see the truth. additionally we cannot keep police officers because they have cut their benefits so they train here for the sign on bonus and then transfer outside our city to surrounding areas. the local government is racist, corrupt and negligent. we have the highest taxes in the entire state and the conditions of predominantly black neiborhoods is absolutely appalling and it's due to pure neglect from our elected officials. it is a cesspool and our own political "leaders" don't even live within the city they serve because they know the conditions and crime.
