such a proud mama moment!! this is the equivalent of a bullied child saying
such a proud mama moment!! this is the equivalent of a bullied child saying "hey I don't like that" when he's uncomfortable instead of just freezing up and taking it 🥹🥳 I had never planned to post this and had completely forgotten there was a camera in the room until now. So ignore my pants adjustment - I had to pull out Thoth from under a couch by his scruff so I could get him in a room to give him his flea/tick/worm meds. What I WASN'T expecting was for him to fluff his tail and HISS at me! 🥰 Honestly this was such a proud moment. He has never had a "fight" instinct. Always just flight. And when he's caught, he just gives up and freezes. Because when you're bullied outside, how do you as a 3 pound kitten fight back against 3 older males, all twice your size? This video is because I'm such a proud mama! This is my baby who has learned that it's okay to say no. That he can let me know when he's pissed. His freeze instinct kicked in again when I gave him his meds. 🥹 I mean I'm happy he didn't bite me. He got lots of treats afterwards which I'm pretty sure his siblings ate after I opened the door. Progress comes in many different shapes and forms! He has never been this vocal when he's upset. Also posting for some critique on my scruffing technique cause I'm not great at it, and Thoth in particular I have to have a good grip otherwise he RUNS. I supported his booty until we came in the room.
