They could have taken it back the money it’s insured and it came from them I work for PNC BANK we take ripped money, tapped and send it back all the time smh sorry that these customers had to experience this

She needs to go to a bank. If the bills aren't counterfeit they should replace the bills and get information on ATM, contact number, who the owner of ATM, location of ATM etc. The bank contact the Feds and the money would be taken out of circulation. Most ATMs aren't owned by banking institutions. The Feds should investigate ATM owner.

Similar thing happened. The $ was damaged taped, had pinholes, torn, stained. I made them replace it inside the branch.

She left the bank. All banks do not allow you to bring money back claiming bad money. This is why you ALWAYS check your money before you leave bc the second you leave there’s no proof that the money came from them. If you can check it in front of a camera atm or branch the better.
