I disagree, depends on the situation sometimes it’s best to up and leave and move on if a place is not serving you, but if an employer has done something illegal, discrimination etc please head straight to a tribunal 😅

I dropped the resignation letter and next day I went to see my doctor and she put me on sickness leave untill the end of resignation period. I have seen how they’ve treated people who resigned multiple times…im not going through that!

They started a paper trail on me (to trap me), after 4 years of perfect work. So I handed them my resignation and told them they don’t pay enough to disrespect me like that.

I tried everything and got punished every time so I quietly resigned after finding a new job. While working my notice I discovered a smear campaign had been launched and at that point I raised a grievance, tossed the match and continued to warm my hands on the bridge I’d just burned.

Best not to bother reporting and raising a grievance as HR and management turn it on to the complainant. Just leave if you can.
