As a parent of a student that goes to your school, not in the grade you teach, I appreciate teachers like you! Go be the leader God has called you to be. I pray my student has you as a teacher next year. I love your content and how you engage the kids to learn and take accountability. Life is hard right now for our youth and we need more like you to stand up for these kids. I also have a high school student, that yesterday felt like he had no one to talk to at school, he text saying he was really struggling as it was his first day back after the Wednesday, (Junior Day of Caring for 9/11). Continue being you!

I’ve been seeing on everyone’s posts like this “I found my voice the second Charlie lost his” and I think this is ringing true for a lot of people now… don’t stop keep speaking up for the kingdom of god. You aren’t alone.

What does Charlie Kirk have to do with any one’s religious beliefs?

Fellow teacher who just followed you. I had a sporting event Thursday and had a weird schedule yesterday. I decided to not really teach yesterday. I needed to let the kids know they are safe and that I care about them.

I had a student say “I’m gonna Charlie Kirk her” right after I stood up in front of the class….. my heart feels so heavy. This has been an awful week and I’m so sad that students in middle school have seen such horrific videos.

Hey man, I’m glad you have your faith and it’s great! But as teachers we also are not legally allowed not should we push our faith or ideas about it. Still like your content but my two cents on this not that anyone asked for it

Charlie has changed so many for the better and to stand up for what’s right. Sad it took his death but God knew. 👏👏

I’m about to finish college for education and you’re one of my favorite influences to watch and try to learn from. I’m so glad you’re starting to talk about more personal stuff too, that’s one of my bigger fears about teaching. Us brothers in Christ need to keep each other strong❤

Jesus was mocked and crucified, He calls us to take up OUR cross and follow Him. Why do we (including myself) think it would be any different for us when we make the decision to follow our suffering servant?!?

9/11 happened in 2001. Students who are in K-12 now were not around for that. Charlie Kirk has a generational impact on us. It’s okay and expected for students to feel heavy hearted following his assassination. We shouldn’t tell them that they should also feel heavy for all the other terrible things that have happened. Let the kids process this with support, and guidance. God is with us always.

The problem is, no one is talking about the other events. Only Charlie Kirk. Selective empathy has never been so evident.

None of my students even know about what happened so my experience was different bc they are more worried about getting deported or their parents and families getting deported ..so what happened to him was horrible but his racist beliefs in immigration directly impacts negatively my students
