a lot of y'all need to quit blaming your kids and do some serious reflecting on things YOU did that contributed to them. not communicating with you anymore and stop putting all the blame on them. it takes two to tangle

Like my daughter I kept wondering why she’s been so nice to me these past few weeks and I thought all this is such a great change. I felt so good then come to find out she needed something from me. It makes me sad.

You said it so well. Being the rescuer parent feels like walking a tightrope, love pulls you to save, guilt hits when you can’t, and deep down you want them to stand on their own. It cuts because it’s your child. Thank you for putting words to that struggle💚
