I wonder if it would be cool to ask people working if it would be okay to pet them?? The dog is working. And I heard the best reply ever once, "he finds no value in being touched by strangers."

Maybe it's how I was raised but I know that service dogs aren't to be disturbed. They see doing their job and aren't to be petted. I admire from a far which is okay but you don't ask to disrupt/pet a service dog.

We saw an adult trying to distract a service dog. My kids had a VERY LOUD discussion about how service dogs shouldn't be bothered. And if they (my kds) understand, then adults should know better.

Most intelligent people know Service Dogs are working dogs and are not to be disturbed. People who have "Emotional Support Dogs' - THEY ARE IMPORTANT DOGS, HOWEVER, THEY ARE NOT SERVICE DOGS.

An adult women became so angry with me when I said no to petting my dog. Why do people always want to touch other peoples dogs? Kids have always been respectful. We all know, dont touch a service dog

I love being asked the 2 questions. It lets me know they’re trying to keep the fakes out of their business. My pet peeve is when people talk to my SD directly. Please don’t. I don’t mind the, “she’s so cute, she’s a good doggy, etc.” they’re not talking directly to my SD, just acknowledging and that’s ok.
