@hrvvge3ve4: In 2014, Brianna became pregnant after being sexually assaulted and gave birth to her son, Cory whom she raised on her own. In 2019, while applying for child support, Brianna arranged a paternity test. After learning he was the biological father, Christopher Gregor sought involvement in raising the child and fought for custody. Because the father had a stable job and a solid personal record, the court ruled that Cory would live with his father most of the time, while Brianna could visit only on alternate weekends From 2019 through early 2021, Brianna noticed newinjuries on Cory every time she saw him. She photographed the marks and reported the abuse to New Jersey's Division of Child Protection and Permanency(DCPP) roughly one hundred times, but no effective investigation followed. Although the agency scheduled an interview with the child, because the father was present, Cory was too afraid to speak,and no further private interview was conducted. On March 20,2021, surveillance footage captured Christopher in the apartment gym forcing 6-year- old Cory to run on a high-speed treadmill. Cory fell repeatedly, yet Christopher pulled him back each time and made him continue. On April 1,2021, Brianna took Cory to a doctor, but no fractures or obvious internal injuries were found.
