I am the only one in my house that has ever been weakened by the summer and every year I felt like I was on a season long pantomime. The heat makes me so angry, no one got me >:( (until my autism diagnosis last year at my big boy age of 24, then everything made sense)

Indeed. Family of 5 here. All of us are autistic, 2 also diagnosed Adhd and 2 awaiting an Adhd assessment. Summer, while fun... Has been draining and way too hot. Bring on autumn and Halloween! Also I have my birthday just before Halloween, so my birthdays are always spooky themed😁

I must be the only AuDHD who likes summer... don't get me wrong I like autumn too... but I hate winter and summer makes me feel alive... not necessarily the heat... I can do heat, I can regulate like a mf. But its the aliveness and bloom of nature I love in summer. I can't stand clothes touching me, indoor heating makes me feel prickly.
