I had someone do this to me, there were 3 accts they opened at TD bank and it took me forever to TD bank to flag my name and keep them from opening accts in it.

I’m a LEO in Florida and have dealt with situations like this. I love watching the person we’re dealing with try to come up with a story and there’s ALWAYS a friend involved who’s not with them at the time. They always try to make themselves look like a victim in these scams. Usually they give us a fake name which just catches them another charge and most have past criminal charges for the same exact thing. Instead of trying to get a real honest job they go and steal hard working people’s money.
