We had a teacher that forced my brother to eat a certain way he’s on the spectrum and he has adhd he has a few safe foods we can pack for him she put his hands on his food telling him what he needed to eat first that same teacher picked me up out of line because my shoe was untied and I struggled tying them I have the same issues as my brother this was when I was in kindergarten she should have been talked to

But she’s only taking the kids word. Kids lie. She should definitely get the teachers side before she puts her on blast. My co-teacher asked a student to put their fun Friday treat on the back table. She told her mom she took it away. No, she just didn’t want the Chromebook to get cotton candy on it.

As a teacher that made me mad too. 😭If it wasn’t time to eat then tell him to put the bag inside his lunch bag or backpack. If the other kids didn’t have a bag well that’s not his fault. Throwing it inside the trash can is a big no no, even if he was begging that seems excessive. Then picking it up hell no.

The only thing that I don’t agree with and gets me mad and that she threw it in the trash and took out the trash and gave it to the kid that would make me mad

Sorry it’s popcorn first off wouldn’t matter to me if any of them babies had bucks or whatever to get popcorn they would off had a popcorn! I totally agree with you. As a Teacher assistant I would never take a child’s popcorn and dang sure wouldn’t get a child something out of the trash.

I love my sons teacher we communicate often and the school psychologist too my son being in gen ed being in the spectrum 1 we are all a team working together as well as his therapist

the teacher is focusing on the wrong things. she needs to chill, it's just food. Definitely change teachers, that teacher has control issues

As a teacher, we don’t know everybody’s story. I will never, ever judge food choices or snacks. I will certainly never judge if I think a kid is “begging for food”. It’s not my place. This teacher was WAY out of line.

As some one who’s 1st bully in elementary school was my 5th grade English teacher. If you can move them move them! My mom didn’t have that option since there was only 4 5th grade teachers and we rotated throughout the day and I was miserable that whole year. She moved on to a middle school and got fired for singling out a different student but to this day I have no idea why she hated me so much especially because I was quiet and kept to myself….

I watched a teacher make her class sit and watch as the other Pre-K class ate their candy because it was before lunch and she didn’t want them to have it.

My kids are homeschooled now but our son’s teacher is truly an angel! When we spent 8.5 weeks in the hospital she came every chance she could. Not all teachers are bad 🙏

I love when people who typically defend teachers can still admit when teachers were in the wrong. because here's the thing. the same is true of parents. sometimes it is the parents in the wrong. sometimes it's the teacher

This is the thing. There are so many people complaining about teachers that are not bad, you can’t do anything right in these people eyes, that when people start to complain about something that is actually really bad, almost no one wants to hear it .
