It’s giving ‘I didn’t explore properly’ 😅…. you clearly missed the best parts of the island, especially the Caribbean Sea side. Of course the Atlantic beaches won’t give you the same vibe. Not every place deserves a harsh critique just because the budget was tight 🫣. Maybe try again with a better plan?

There are actually beautiful beaches on mainland St Vincent. Try Villa beach, Buccament Beach or even Questelles Beach. Please also try to take a day trip to the Grenadine island of Bequia.

Funny that you say SVG isn't really for tourist when a plethora of guests who have come to stay at our Sandals resort sing the praises of the island and the people. Maybe what you meant to say is the island isn't over-saturated with tourists and activities geared towards them. Outside of our carnival season, SVG is for relaxation and appreciation of nature!

To be honest ,I didn't see you travel to the east coast of Barbados, I didn't see you go to the country side and so on in Barbados. But you are entitled to your opinion. The caribbean is full of beauty, perhaps check my highlights for a few scenary vids(I dont have many)or just google . Barbados is pricey but has lovely country views.

You’re right, the main island is not a “typical” touristy place. I always tell people if you love culture, nature and adventure then it’s the place for you. There aren’t manicured beaches and a whole lot of structure when it comes to activities for tourists. But it is rustic and there a lot of beauty in the mountains, waterfalls, rivers and rain forest. There is also beauty in black sand beaches, you just haven’t found good ones ;) if you wanna sip Piña Coladas on a white sand beach, go to the Grenadines! If you like nature and adventure then St. Vincent is for you!

St V is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. And I’m Jamaican, they’ll take my JA card for saying that lol. But I’m back in Vincy in 10 days and can’t waaaaaait!!
