when my grandpa passed away. He died around like 5pm,under 24hrs later he was already in a casket at a funeral ready to be cremated that same night. I mean this was in Mexico in summer temperature 105°.

My grandmother Dorothy was not embalmed. She did have to be buried next day though.

First. I thank you for your information. I find it fascinating! Next, when I was in high school I helped out at a local funeral home as a Paul bearer for folks who may have been alone or didn’t have anyone to assist with the honor. I swear to this day I heard a body moaning while we were in the basement of the funeral home. It was a body that was being moved for embalming. I can still hear the sounds and voice like noise 30 years later.

my godmother asked not to be embalmed, but the funeral director told me, since she was having a wake, it was required by law to be embalmed. Her wake was only for 2 hours, following the burial in the morning. I asked them why she has to be embalmed if it was only within 24 hours. They still said it was due to health issues.

if you leave white bodies out to long they turn black is that why they get buried so fast.
