@not.victoria.secret_: late May 2024, I ordered myself a raised garden bed off Amazon, assembled it myself & planted a couple packets of sunflower and zinnia seeds. I didn't have high expectations but I needed something to occupy my brain. To my surprise, I had blooms! this year, I planted even more seeds, staggered my planting by a couple weeks & tended to them more closely. Almost every sprout has bloomed now - there's a few that should within the next week or so. It's been incredible therapeutic & I think there's so much symbolism with my own growth here too. #trauma #gardening #pennsylvania #traumahealing
