My 11-year-old GSD has graduated to a senior delinquent from being a junior one. still has play time... selective hearing because a little bit of deafness but also plays that card, little bit of front limb arthritis. thankfully, no sign of degenerative myelopathy or hip dysplasia. had some teeth removed a few months back, but doing well. They say every 53 days is a year and a dog's life. I try to make each one filled with the things he loves. And what I don't want to go for a walk and I'm tired I just look at him and know 4 years from now he's not going to be on that dog bed looking at me that way and we walk!
