I was pregnant when I turned 19 so I went to our favourite bar/restaurant (usually sat on the side where kids could be) and ordered a beer. My daughter's dad drank it though haha. I told the waitress it wasn't for me before I even ordered I just wanted to order a beer for the first time

I went to get my ex husband beer from the liquor store and I was 6 months pregnant and the clerk asked in front of the owner if it was for me or the baby I said my husband wants a beer and he had already been drinking. the owner knew me and my husband and he knew it was never for me and she got fired for her comment.

Curious but would think restaurant would not be responsible if something happened to mom to be or baby after having drink. I would be like the customer minding her business but trying to stay in my lane.🤣🤣🤣

When I lived in England, at 9months pregnant, my OB encouraged me to have one stiff drink per night to relax my body so labor would start. It’s a thing in Europe.

that's wild because a lot of times if you're at a table with people that are younger than you in some restaurants you can't even order a drink that's happened to us a couple of times

My OB said an occasional drink in your 3rd trimester is perfectly fine, but I would never do it out in public because of the judgy judges. People need to mind their own business.

I’ve been lucky so far at least and may have served pregnant ladies but they never said they were preggo soooo I’ll never know for sure 🤷🏼♀️🫣😬

My mom drank 1 beer a day with one of those huge dill pickles, when she was pregnant with me. That’s what she craved and the doctor said it was fine as long as she only had 1 beer, so she did. Then after I was born she couldn’t stand beer. 😂

I believe its recommended not to because alcohol can affect your blood pressure and you wanna avoid that during a pregnancy, many medications you can't take while pregnant either and smoking, drugs, tobacco etc are also told not to have as well since those can genuinely harm you and being pregnant can put you are risk for certain things (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not a doctor or nurse at all)
