Knowing yourself starts as a child and the reason not knowing ourselves is normal is because we are taught to value everything outside of ourselves from a young age. Respect and value for authority (grownups, law enforcement, religious authorities, etc…). For most of us we only have the luxury of getting to know ourselves once we’re adults and rarely do we have the tools and knowledge to even get started

Great bit of clarity on this, thanks. Also by being able to perceive ourselves in this way our identity moves deeper. We “identify” less with these expressions of the little ego. So we begin that knowing of the deeper self which can observe, choose according to values etc

I think it means being your authentic self without the worry of anything from the outside world, and just being in your bliss of knowing this whole place is a simulation of matrix so it doesn’t matter what you do so just be in your enjoyment living of the self
