Europe is the way. The US is so individualistic. In Spain there multiple squares where communal areas are set for different groups. And this is coming from a loner Aquarius ♒️🤣

I just came back from 2 weeks in Istanbul turkey…. From using the metro and walking every day for hours, drinking coffee and walking at 11 pm at night and feeing safe…. Now back in USA which is so isolated

The lack of social spaces in the US that don't center around drinking or church is a problem. Secular social spaces where we can meet and get to know our community members and neighbors is important.

Asturias was a dream. We practiced speaking Spanish and locals helped us. Then, locals asked us for help on certain English terms and phrases. Peaceful. Relaxed. Human BEINGS not human doings.

Yes! I've told people this. Went to Madrid and Barcelona and people work and immediately go home and change and then just walk to socialize with people eating tapas and drinking and laughing. It was incredible.
