READ THE GODDAMN CAPTION: Jump roping, especially with heavy ropes forces the body to correct itself as in order to maintain constant angular velocity and waste the least amount of energy possible. From the top your body is forced to keep your shoulders broad and locked, which overtime in attempt to increase maximal rotation efficiency will indirectly improce ribcage expansion, which helps to balance your mid and upper back muscles and from the other side diaphragmatic breathing whcih eases the burden on the neck and the tendency to be stuck in forward head stance. From the bottom, it builds elasticity, by improving your feet arching(easiest way to fix flat feet) by strengthening your toes,(especially the big one) it helps with ankle mobility, keeping your knees healthy and depending on the specific style you’re performing with internal and external hip rotation, crucial for pelvic stability. These gains are progressive and commutative, the better you get at it, the more efficient you get, the more efficient you get, the more your posture improves and by combining this early on with a relatively tight postural brace you force all of these adaptations even faster. Similar logic applies to sprinting and walking uphill to an extent, but if you had to pick either to start with i’d go with jump roping 10 times out of 10. I promise you that if you give it a chance for a few months and do this daily your life will radically change for the better. If you’ve reading this up until this point idk what you’re waiting on, go and get your skipping rope and get started ASAP! and p.s. this is a crucial component for intervertebral expansion and inducing in the cyclic compression stuff i’ve been talking about XD have fun with your free gains and gg for reading hahahah
