Godddd what is it with photographers coming up with these silly terms every year lmao this is just GOOD photography. It’s not new. Good coverage has always had this type of style and grading. It’s not loose editorial or anything else. It’s a timeless mix of intentional portraits and documentary coverage which has always been a staple in wedding photography outside of the online-focused world

Documentary style typically means little to no no posing at all, so I consider this editorial and candid! A lot of the photos in this video are posed or prompted, even though they have that “documentary feel”

I would call it prompted. We are giving a direction, but everyone looks different/reacts differently so it’s also candid. It gives editorial candid or documentary, but it isn’t 😉
