if I set mine below 6, it stops cooling. it works on 6 and 7. if i set it on 5, or below, my stuff will spoil because the fridge will stop cooling.

the longer the compressor runs the colder the fridge will be. so set higher in summer and set lower number in winter.

This is not accurate. 1 is the least cold setting whilst 5 is the coldest. Your fridge may range from 32F-48F for example and depends on where you place the temperature control it allows you to set the temp (Not always accurate). Also if your freezer is frost free then no ice should be accumulating in there regardless of the control setting. It simple means something is wrong.

Total irelevant pe anotimpuri.. in casa am aproximativ aceeasi temperatura tot timpul anului. Valabil poate pentru frigiderul de pe terasa😂
