I have a completely different theory. I think women cheat because they don’t invest in their current relationship. As with anything in life when you stop investing in it love naturally fades. Not only do they stop investing, but they start requiring more from their partner. Which creates an investment gap and subconscious guilt. They cheat because that new partner has an equal investment as them which is zero. They don’t feel that subconscious guilt of asking and asking and asking if someone else will giving nothing in return. I’ve been the side Guy scores of times and I’ve watched him and cheat while I’m in bed with them and talking to their husband‘s on the phone. Women complain to me that their husbands are not fulfilling. Their emotional needs. But I’m in their bed and all I did was send them a text. I don’t give them one thing that they say they need from their husband. That is a dark part of my past that I am very ashamed of. I’m not bragging. I’m just sharing the lesson.

My ex cheated because she was always needing attention from other men even though she got all the attention, love and spoiling from me at home. She has no idea how to live or be loved. She just needed attention from the next shiny object.

You're absolutely right. When a women cheats they are emotionally invested in the other person so more than likely you're relationship with her is over. That's why I never understood a man who would take a woman back who's cheated.
