So I’ve read one of the frozen books that focuses on part of Kristoff’s childhood and it’s so funny how the trolls, who are a completely different species, did a way better job parenting him than Anna and Elsa’s parents ever did with their daughters

I think they used the grandpa as a scapegoat to avoid villainizing her parents tbh. Not that the grandpa wasn’t a horrid person, but it’s like the parents didn’t take any accountability for anything.. to cut them some slack the situation was very particular and most people wouldn’t know what to do about a child with powers, especially in the period shown. I do still think we should have gotten something from them yk? I feel that’s what the waters memory scene was(from the parents ship wreck) supposed to be. But it ended up just making Elsa blame herself more(holy yap💔)
