Factoring a trinomial is a prerequisite skill learned in Algebra. There are lots of techniques taught these days, however practice is how you pick up speed. For the numerator in this problem, you just need factors of 2 that add to 3. The denominator you need factors of -6 that add to -1. This method works as long as the coefficient of x squared is 1. Let me know if this helps!
