Ma'am it means the grocery store manager messed up the order and ordered too much. Now they have too much and since it's a perishable item they need to reduce the price really low so they can quickly sell it before the next truck gets there.

It’s because they are no longer testing this milk for bacteria and the chances of us getting sick from said bacteria are quite high so they gotta sell it low

tariffs. they aren't converting milk into other finished goods (like cheese) as much as they were because we aren't exporting as much. so dairy farms have excessive yield and have to sell at a loss=lower prices domestically.
