@dawnerly: my cs2 cheats loader went down today. i told myself i’d make the most of it. i went outside and i walked until i found a small bakery on the corner. i ordered a donut, the girl at the counter smiled. i handed her a five and let her keep the measly change, i sat by the window and bit into it. the donut was fine. sweet, warm, dusted with sugar. i looked at it like i was supposed to feel something, gratitude, joy, fullness. instead, i just kept chewing, waiting for some internal sound cue, but there was nothing, just sugar and bread and silence. when i crossed the street i had no wallhack, no triggerbot, no aimbot to carry me. i was just raw, human, underskilled, exposed. i watched cars go by. people crossed the street, carrying bags, talking, laughing. all of it was happening in real time, raw, unscripted, unsmoothed by netcode. i felt like i was spectating life, not playing it. grass doesn’t feel as good as landing a headshot through smoke when you don’t deserve it. the sky doesn’t open like the scoreboard. i wandered again. into stores, down streets, through parks. i touched racks of clothes, pretended to admire architecture, even listened to a street performer play guitar. i tried to let the music mean something, but none of it hit, nothing glowed the way others seemed to realize it had. i wandered, i tried, i failed. when the day was over, i eventually came back home. sat down, my desk was waiting. i sat there, staring at the screen, refreshing, praying for the loader to come back online. i tried to live and it was nothing. my cs2 cheats loader went down today, and so did i. #schizo #blehhhh #nd follow my substack link in bio or the same username as on here 😁🍀❤️

I’d argue you are living but comparing how you interact with the world to others can be interpreted many different ways including negative if you are uncomfortable. I’d say you lived that day more in depth than most people not only did you remember the parts of you day and make notes on your own perception you also were introspective and engaged.
