It can release extra energy, soothe emotions, and help you focus when your thoughts feel scattered. Instead of seeing it as “weird” or “wrong,” it is important to understand that this behavior is simply your nervous system finding balance. Many ADHDers use verbal stimming to: ✨ Calm anxiety or overwhelm ✨ Keep their brain engaged during tasks ✨ Spark dopamine when motivation feels low ✨ Process emotions in real time The truth is, there is nothing wrong with needing this outlet. Your brain has unique needs and verbal stimming is one of the ways it takes care of itself.
