just make sure the cable is short enough that if someone were to knock your helmet, it won't hit the ground. as we all know, a helmet that's been dropped is useless and if someone picks it back up you'd have no idea it fell

So maybe you want to have a look at an Oxford chain lock that way you can keep your bike and your stuff safe. Put it through your back tire and put it through your sleeve then in the helmet.

You are doing it correctly but I would use a stronger chain with a high safety rating, the kind that one needs a cordless saw to cut, if ofc your helmet and jacket are expensive to replace.

As a thief myself, I much prefer it when people leave their jackets and helmets. I hate getting cold, and it’s always nice to wear safety gear when you are evading police.

You can get a tiny cable lock with retractable cable that fits in your pocket or under your seat.

have a look at the manual for your bike, there might be a lock for your helmet under your pillion seat

most bikes have a peg under the seat. hook your d rings over it and put the seat back. locked secure helmet.

es gibt stabile Taschen aus ganz dickem Segeltuch, mit einem Schloss speziell für Motorräder. dort packst du alles hinein, Jacke Handschuhe und andere Sachen und schließt es dann zusammen mit deinem Helm am Motorrad fest. es ist wasserdicht und man kann es nicht aufschneiden. 😏
