@odrekrwabwogo: With the PACEID team, I visited De Heus Uganda Ltd in Jinja, a tilapia feed factory that fills me with optimism for Uganda’s aquaculture & food systems. 🔹 Feeds are the bedrock of food security. 🔹 Young Ugandans are now experts in production & quality. 🔹 Structured markets for farmers are taking shape. At full capacity, De Heus will produce 100,000 tons of feed, consume double the current maize, soya & cassava, and create 7,000 to 10,000 farm jobs. This is the kind of investment Uganda needs, adding value locally, building farmer markets & driving export-led growth #UgandaExports #PACEID
