As an optometrist, I want to clarify this. Not wearing glasses doesn’t automatically cause a lazy eye. Amblyopia (lazy eye) only develops if astigmatism is significant enough that the brain can’t form fine-tuned visual connections during childhood, leaving baseline vision blurry

i don't understand why people don't want to wear their glasses, like doesn't it bother you to not be able to see or what? the first thing I do when I wake up is literally put on my glasses, ai can't bear to not have them on unless it's absolutely necessary😭
