@adriannawelson: 15th Sept 2025 🌧️ Heavy rain started around 1am and didn’t stop until 8am. By 5am, we woke up to quickly pack and save what we could but the river water rose so fast and deras that we had no choice but to leave our tent and items behind. We drove out to a safe spot nearby and waited with other campers while it was still raining, dark and the water reached knee level 😅 Once the hujan stopped and the water subsided, we went back, packed everything and alhamdulillah all was safe. It was our first time experiencing banjir kt campsite and memang the struggle was real 🥹 but the key is, don’t panic 🙌🏼. Huge thanks to the CO @forest 8 senses and his amazing team for helping everyone around. Despite the flood, we truly enjoyed our first & 2nd day, the vibes were great, the toilets were clean and the river was crystal clear. Definitely planning to come back again but maybe during the dry season 😉. We are home now ❤️ safe, tired but happy.
