yep I moved into an HOA community about 3 or 4 years ago after I bought my home I started doing things to it they started sending me letters so I went down and got an appraisal on my home I made it a point to be at the next HOA meeting I walked right up to the president said the paper too and I told them if they want to tell me what to do on my land with my home and they can collectively collect the money and buy me out and I turn around and walked out has been three or four years ago I haven't gotten a letter since

paint the rocks. easy solution. but this is why I wouldn't ever live in an HOA. these people are ridiculous. I won't be paying for my house and a monthly fee for people to tell me what I can and cannot do to my own dang property.
