Just take the negative off the battery. If it keeps running you're good. If it dies you need an alternator.

start car. unplug battery. get a bucket of water. pour it into the alternator while it's running. if it stops running, then your alternator was fine.

touch the back of the alternator if you can in the center it will have magnetic pole if it's working. kind of dangerous to do it on the front.

Alternador desconectado no imanta. Cuando lo conecta se produce electromagnetismo y por eso se pega la herramienta..

решил проверить ! подготовил ключ , завел , снял фишку , проверил - не магнититься , одел фишку , тянусь за ключем на 10 а он уже пропал 😳 поэтому считаю лайфак не рабочий 😏

ce n'est pas mauvais cette méthode mais l'alternateur peut charger moins et vous saurez pas la logique voudrait d'utiliser l'appareil de mesure
