We use coat hangers in patient houses as well when giving IVs . We don’t have drip stand holders in houses so coat hangers it is 🤣

I always used to use coat hangers when setting up IVs when I was community nursing, so nice and simple as most households have coat hangers! Hang them up on a curtain rail and it’s just like a hospital drip stand!

I love a coat hanger. if your giving set is long enough, hang the hanger on a curtain rail then you can sit comfortably on a chair or bed. Ive even hung it on a lampshade and door frames.

I wish they do this for me instead of making go to the hospital every time I need it I get critically low about every 4 to 6 month but my doctors are dumb asses and won’t help
