@crmnallyobsessed: Wendell Hisle, 75, was charged after allegedly trying to ram his car into a group of people in Stonington, Connecticut. Police dashcam footage shows Hisle deliberately driving into a stone wall near where people were sitting, then fleeing the scene briefly before being arrested. Authorities say Hisle had been speeding earlier but backed into someone after being told to slow down. He was released on a $250,000 bond and appeared in court, where the judge stated there was no signs of alcohol or health issues. Hisle is a recent 2023 retiree from Connecticut College, where he served as Vice President for Information Services and Librarian. He and his attorney declined to comment.
