As an autism mom, I know the struggle of holding down a child. He is good with brushing teeth but we have to hold him down at the doctor.

Try to brush each quadrant for specific amount of time! Count out loud, that way he knows when it’s about to stop and switch to another, and also when it will end!! I started with 10 seconds, and worked my way up to 30 seconds each! It takes time, but my son is 4 now and can get though it with a light whine!
