My HS boyfriend got me a corsage for prom. He asked the florist to make it with the option to pin on or a wrist strap because he knew I had skin issues with both metal and elastic. So that way I could choose the day of depending on what worked best. And one of the ribbons was a larger loop in case neither worked and I wanted to carry it. THAT was effort. If an 18 year old could manage that, grown men have no excuse.
