put a screendoor so they can see each other but no touching! they are very cheap on amazon! but don't take the ones with magnets!

I would give them way more time separated than 3 days. I kept my kitten separated from my senior cat for a week before we did intros.

I put my kitten in a dog cage (it was HUGE)and covered three sides with a blanket when I fully introduced him to my other cat! they could see and sniff each other while still being able to get away when they wanted!

We were so lucky and did not have to do any of this with our two Siamese! As soon as we brought our boy Henry home, our girl Cleo came right up and started licking him and tried to be his mom!

We got a new kitten 4 days ago. Leia is 6 months, Luka is 4 months. For the first 2 days Leia was tweaked out, hissing, yowling, etc. Day 3 some magic happened and Leia started sniffing/getting curious. Now its day 4 and they're snuggling together. I didnt keep them seprated at all besides night time, but we're gonna let them sleep together in our room tonight. Long story short, it gets betterr!

go slowly, let them smell one anouther for a few days see each other with a gate or some kind of partition in place for a few days then let them meet with no barriers. going to fast can make it harder for them.

The 3 rule works well for new cats 3 days - 3weeks -3months for them to fully adjust to a new home it worked well with my senior cat I took in last Boxing Day and now it’s his home ! :)

I was lucky. I never had to do that with my 2 cats. they actually liked each other within 24h and no room separation. but that was only after I observed well if there was any hostility from any if them.
