Homemade Meat Belyashi (Fried Meat Pies) Dough Ingredients: * 750 g flour * 250 ml warm water * 250 ml warm milk * 1 tbsp sugar * 1 tbsp yeast * 1 tsp salt * 1 egg * 1 tbsp mayonnaise * 30 g vegetable oil (2 tbsp) Filling: * 400–500 g ground meat * 400 g onion * 1 tsp salt * Red and black pepper to taste * 2–3 tbsp vegetable oil Instructions: 1. Dissolve the sugar and yeast in warm milk and water. Let sit for 10 minutes. 2. Add the egg, mayonnaise, salt, and vegetable oil. 3. Gradually add the flour and knead into a soft, elastic dough. 4. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours. 5. Mix the ground meat with finely chopped onions, salt, pepper, and oil. 6. Divide the dough into portions, roll out, add the filling, and shape the pies. 7. Fry until golden brown on both sides or bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes.
