The female officer is wise for wanting to exercise her legal discretion as a public peace officer and showed tremendous composure and high integrity. The male officer made matters worse and failed to differ to the first officer on scene who has the best perspective and greater contextual information to take the lead in the situation. The male officer was aggressive and power tripping even in his interaction with the female officer. He needs to do better and apologize to both the female officer and the gentleman who was given a ticket.

I love when the officer is in the wrong and won't admit it, the sargeant will come by and say "there's nothing I can do, it's his traffic stop, he makes the call" but in this case, she's wrong and will admit it, the sargeant takes over completely and forces her to write the ticket.
