I would like to add that he shot at a police officer in the face before he was then shot. there is a court suppression order in place for some information as well. Definitely worth looking uo the whole story but there was custody issues and court orders in place prior to him going on the run. he caused a massive search and rescue operation that made him loose custody of the children due to failure to appear in court after his first disappearance. Just a small part of this massive case in little NZ
