i had a run in aswell early this year. daughter went to nz by herself but i checked her in. about 1.5 kgs over do we took stuff out and i was gana take them home. we weighed it again and thought we sweet now. he moves the bag then all of a sudden we 2 kgs over again. i weighed it on the emirates scales 1st and i jnew we were touch and go but not 2kgs over after taking 1.5kgs out. i had to pay $80 or they said they were gana give the flight to someone on standby. i flipped out but had to leave or my daughter was gana miss out on her league tournament. scam workers there. they get an incentive for this apparently

scale stays the same. but sometimes people add extra stuffs. if you dont have the sticker on your carry on during check in process then yeap be prepared to be checked again lol

It’s true I use to work at the back n knew the front of house people,they have been scamming,I know one person who got fired for this exact reason 🫡🤦🏼♀

At check-in, have people weigh all their bags and have them on their boarding pass... Before they enter the plane they can cross check from counter and at the gate. This will high-light if the customers are putting more items in or the scales are broken. If customers are putting items in than they check this as they have two scans operating near the gates...

Airnz out of new plymouth always frustrates me, last time we had premium economy through to nrth qld aus and 2 suitcases (24kg and 16kg), she was going to make me repack (our allowance was 4 checked and 4 carry on), always have the issue flying out of there

Just last week flying from Auckland Domestic Airport with @Jetstar NZ i had the most foul experience with 4 different people. I was told to pay 300 for a bag already purchased with my fare bundle...😫 worst experience nearly missing my flight because their servers wouldn't let me check in until I paid. I laid a complaint as i had all the proof of my baggage and yet I was treated rudely to pay or no flying and didnt even get service for another flight at later time... poor service, rude air hostesses. Try and charge me for something I already paid for. @Jetstar NZ Do better please 🙏

While traveling me and my boss were charged twice for our luggage.We paid tickets and on ticket with 20kg.even when we were less than,we were asked to pay for our luggage.Saying tickets were paid with 20kg but was charged for each Kilo of luggage again.
