@babyacrobatics: This is what 20 minutes of movement does to your baby's brain 🧠 Look at this brain scan - before and after a simple 20-minute walk. What you're seeing is how movement literally builds neural pathways that boost reading skills by an entire grade level. Dr. Charles Hillan's research shows this isn't just about older kids either. From DAY ONE, your baby's brain is forming over 1 million connections per second through movement. Every time your baby rolls, reaches, crawls, or even gets flipped upside down (yes, really!), they're building the brain architecture that determines their future learning abilities. Here's the thing most parents don't realize: 👉 Crawling connects both sides of the brain 👉 Reaching builds planning and problem-solving centers 👉 Rolling develops spatial awareness 👉 Hanging upside down strengthens balance and attention systems But when babies spend 2+ hours daily in car seats, bouncers, and containers? We're seeing higher rates of ADHD, reading difficulties, and learning challenges. I know it sounds scary, but here's the good news - natural movement and play literally rewire your baby's brain for success. No fancy toys or apps needed. The neural pathways you help build in your baby's first year? They last a lifetime. If you want to learn exactly how to support your baby's brain development through natural movement, DM me "baby movement" on IG and I'll send you more info! #babydevelopment #brainscience #parentingtips #babymovement #milestones

Can you be more specific than “movement”? Are we talking about having the baby in a carrier? A stroller? Both?

Or it could be that people who have time to do activities with their children are also likely to have additional resources such as time, education and health to promote these outcomes

Around what age should we take them on walks and expose them to sunlight ? My newborn turns 1 month on the 21st, and I want to take him on walks and sit outside with him in the sun but I heard direct exposure to sunlight is no good

Parents dont understand how to slowly ramp up their childs effort into development. They wanna go super fast and butler the kid to make it seem like their relationship is untouchable but its just disastrous because they never learn resilient behaviors nor are resilient which is a prerequisite for anything achievable.

I love this, we walk 3 times a day for 15 mins each. I bought a marketplace stroller and call it the yard stroller, aside from walking he can sit in shade while I pull weeds. We also chase and pick up tennis balls for the dog with the yard stroller.
