I have never heard of someone being assaulted in a taxi, or reputable cab company, and there being no consequences. Uber and Lyft can not say the same.

I only take cabs/taxis from LAX because I only live 15 minutes away and I’m charged $26 vs. uber that wants to charge $60-80 for the same trip. 🙄

I always do when I come from SFO - also they are such better drivers - and I want to support their business - sometimes it’s cheaper - sometimes the same and sometimes not cheaper but it all evens out
