What is very sad is that HD is actually a very good company when it comes to helping their employees when in need. But it seems like her managers just want to see her get arrested and ruin her life more.

Home Depot won’t say shit if an employee is stealing, they will wait it out until it is a felony then they involve the police. I had a coworker get walked out and fired after a 6-7 month investigation

This girl most likely was panicking and just volunteering information. She should have asked for a lawyer, and to see the video footage of the alleged crime. They definitely were trying to set her up to volunteer more information to further incriminate her.

Not making the excuse stealing is never OK but her situation is understandable. Hospitals and insurance policies are ridiculous. Given our president who doesn’t seem to give an actual care about anybody in basic health needs and would rather just have insurance pay for people to basically die rather than save someone’s life or keep somebody alive. I get her situation because hospitals can be expensive and without insurance so they won’t even treat you stealing is never OK but for decriminalize her for in a way trying to help pay off her grandmother‘s bills when somebody else is in helping and doing their part, it’s understandable and in a way I kind of feel bad for her. It’s awful that they’re firing her and penalizing her over this but in a way I understand with them how it’s not OK and they’re losing money but also I feel bad for her situation. She can’t afford whatever bills they’re charging her with and somebody else in the house is not paying their role whether they’re not able to or they’re just being flat out lazy and not even wanting to do It either way they’re not understanding or know the situation it’s not OK to steal, but it’s also they’re not being like understanding enough and this company doesn’t seem to really care which is good why I don’t really work here. My job is not even that much good either. I am barely making ends meat working two days a week. I agreed to with stupidly. I’m hoping the hours pick up but I’m struggling to make ends meet and I’m only 28 years old.
