I am SO with you on this. I will never ever ever be a “the kids nap when they’re tired” mom. We thrive on schedules round here.

Hi! I’m going to start sleep training my babies next week they will be 6 months. We are also transitioning out of the Merlin suit as well into a sleep sack… once they are good to go on the sleep training when would you recommend switching over to schedule naps?

Truly cannot imagine. My 16 month old has never consistently napped longer than an hour in her life. Ever. Has she had a rogue 2 hour or 30 minute nap? Yes. But we average 45 minutes. Always. And she sleeps 12 hours a night. No matter what. I truly cannot imagine a 3 hour break.

I literally do this with my twins and toddler and people are shocked. I'm like seriously it's not that hard people use common sense and make your life easier.

Yep. Did this when baby hit around 7/8m. Early nap for her and then afternoon nap for both the baby and my almost 3yo. And they typically nap a solid 2+hrs. That break is everything for me😅

My 2 year olds couldn’t nap more than 45 minutes- I’d have to wake them after that or they’d be awake till 10pm even if they were laying in bed quietly trying to sleep. I would rather have less daytime sleep and 7pm bedtime 🤣 a toddler taking a 3 hour nap is a dream!

I think my toddlers nap can be very flexible I even think she could go without a nap because she has. She’s almost 2 but no way would she go to bed at 7:30 if she slept past 2:30. So idk how I would make this work

Yes to this!! My toddler used to nap at 12 until baby #2 came so I moved it back to 1 and now they nap at the same time 👏🏼

We like to go do things in the morning, like library, park, zoo, museums. Do you always do crib naps with your baby in the morning or does baby do naps on the go?
