The Prophet ﷺ, his Companions, or the scholars of early generations never used the Qur’an in this way. The Qur’an was revealed as guidance, law, wisdom, and remembrance not as a “fortune-telling” or “horoscope” tool. It’s Linking random times to verses is similar to using omens or astrology, which Islam prohibits. The Qur’an should not be used for superstitious practices. Instead of studying tafsīr, learning the actual meanings, and applying the Qur’an properly, people start treating it like a “magic code.” This diverts them from the true way the Qur’an should be approached.
