Sorry kiddo! You are in the wrong! Unless when you took the job in the job description it said it was remote, usually a sales job. If they want you butt in a chair in the office you have to have your butt in a chair in the office. You would be very lucky if they offer you severance if they let you go and I would love to hear what you would say on interviews for new jobs.

I can understand if its necessary to fulfil your role to be hands on however if your role can be carried out productively at home I can’t see the objections your saving money and the environment by not using your car to commute, and you have more quality time with your family. Win/win

This comment section is not it! She has every right to do that just like if the company feels like I they can terminate her. Idk why everyone thinks she need to comply specially if the other offers are valid she’s clearly in demand and has the right to take another offer if this job no longer works for her. Loyality to companies doesn’t pay like it used to. If you pass or have a life event that inconviences the company they will post your job the very next day!
